What customers say?

“ Wheelchair accessible Sukiyaki set meal made with domestic chicken and Edo-style seared oyakodon (chicken and egg bowl) made with Amai Jidori chicken. I prefer the seared version, but my companions prefer the non-seared version. It would be nice if you could choose the amount of rice in your bowl. I'm interested in the Kyoto-style oyakodon (chicken and egg bowl). (*^^*) The wait staff were calm and friendly, and I felt at ease. ”

“ I heard that they open at 11:30 even on weekdays and there's always a line, but perhaps by chance the line was short and I was able to enjoy the limited-edition seared oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl), which is only available for five people. The egg was soft-boiled and runny, with a sweet Edo-style flavor. Combined with the fragrant seared chicken, it was delicious. You can choose between Edo-style (sweet with a dashi broth) and Kyoto-style (light), and you can also choose between male and female meat. Apparently, the female meat is softer. ”

“ January 13, 2025. This is my girlfriend's favorite restaurant and they serve delicious chicken sukiyaki. It's been a while since I last ate there, but the chicken was tender and packed with vegetables, so it was just as delicious as ever. The broth wasn't too strong and just the right amount of sweet. We visited just before closing time, but the service was great and we enjoyed a leisurely meal, so we give it five stars. ”

“ This is my favorite restaurant. I'm back! I went for weekday lunch. The seared oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) is only available for 5 servings, ¥1,100. They're using a female chicken today. It has a subtle seared flavor, but I personally prefer it seared more thoroughly. Next time, I'll try the sukiyaki set meal! I was disappointed that the yakitori rice bowl was no longer available. I hope it comes back. ”

“ Yesterday, I went with a couple of friends to celebrate our time at camp. They said they only had seats available at 8pm, so we made a reservation and waited. It's been over a decade since I last went. The chicken sashimi is delicious, as always. It was my first time trying chicken chazuke, and it was delicious. Next time, I'd like to try the oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) again after such a long time. ”

“ March 2, 2024, 11:30 AM, Dine-in I ordered the local chicken sukiyaki set meal (limited to 5 servings). You can get a large portion of rice for free! This was my first time trying chicken bowl sukiyaki. I loved the seasoning and found it lighter than beef. Some customers also ordered oyakodon. ⭐︎ ”

“ I finally got to go to a restaurant I've always wanted to try. I visited Ajisenryo Ritto Main Branch, a local chicken restaurant in Takano, Ritto City, for lunch. I'd heard of this place quite some time ago, but when I recently saw a video on "Daily Shiga Gourmet" calling it "the best oyakodon I've ever had," I immediately decided to visit. I ate the oyakodon, which is said to be the most delicious I've ever had, lol. Ajisenryo is quietly located along Route 1 in Takano, Ritto City, in the same area as Butajin, a ramen restaurant, and Hiromorien, a Chinese restaurant. There's parking in front of the restaurant for about 10 cars. The restaurant has counter seating and a raised sunken kotatsu table, and is much larger than it appears from the outside. The restaurant seats 55, and its website says it can accommodate banquets for up to 25 people. A unique feature of this restaurant is that you can choose the seasoning and type of chicken for your oyakodon. The seasoning is either Edo-style or Kyoto-style. The Edo-style has a sweet base like sukiyaki. The Kyoto-style has a lighter dashi base. You can choose between chewy, low-fat male chicken or soft, juicy female chicken. I ordered the Edo-style with female chicken. They said extra rice is free, so I went for the extra large portion ︎ The oyakodon had an egg yolk on top in the center—that's sick! The sweet seasoning, similar to warishita, was a perfect match with the egg yolk! The meat had just the right amount of firmness and a delicious flavor that was addictive. I can honestly say that it was the best oyakodon I've ever had. It was the best oyakodon I've ever had. ¥900 for this was a bargain. Next time, I'll try the Kyoto-style chicken sukiyaki at lunchtime, and I'd definitely like to return in the evening. Things to note: ●Lunch is served quickly. 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM (L.O. 1:00 PM) ● Closed for lunch on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It was a great place! ”
